"What the hell were you doing?! I mean, coming out all this way to get her, was there a ransom?"
"Well, ummm, there was sort of a ransom, oh we didn't really know."
"Didn't it cross your minds that she was dangerous. Megan Bishop is a very, very dangerous lady. She's been in an institution for years now."
"Oh I hadn;t realised that!"
"Yes, well we know all about your little entanglement with her Mr Neal. Seems that you did quite well out of the situation doesn't it...new life, new fionce...you pushed her over the edge!"

At the hospital Laura is waiting for news:
"Dr, dr, what's happening. Please, is he alright, tell me something."

"Laura, your Dad is a very, very lucky man! Its seems that Miss Bishops aim wasn't very accurate. She got your Dad just above the groin. We''ve been able to remove the bullet and stop the internal bleeding."
"So what, he's gonna be fine?"
"Well its very early days. We've got to hope that peritonitis doesn't set in so we'll be keeping in for perhaps a week just to monitor him but yes, he should make a full recovery."
"Oh god, thankyou, thankyou. Can I see him?"
"Yes, but he is a little groggy so don't tire him out too much."

"Oh Dad, what the hell were you doing? Bringing Harry how could you? I mean I new you never liked him but!"
"Laura, I'm soo sorry. All I could think about was my little girl and how she was trapped. I wanted to do anything possible to get you home safe."

"Dad, Dad, its ok. Look we're all fine I think we just need to forget about this, move on. I've already lost my mum, I can'll out with you."

In Dr Olsen's office Cathy and Jen talk about the surrogacy:
"So Cathy, I've had the report from Nurse Marshall & it seems that we're all set to go ahead."
"Oh thankyou, thankyou so much."
"I don't think I need the praise here, I think its your amazing friend Jen. So how are things with you Jen."
"Great thanks. I've been following all the instructions, you know, to prepare myself. But I guess having two children before is the best kinda experience."
"Of course it is. Right, well thats sorted. All I know need to do Cathy is book you in for surgery to extract some of your eggs. We'll actually do this under local anaethesia and we'll send them straight down to the lab and start to fertilisation process. So we also need Sangeev to come in and give us some samples."
"When do you think that'll be."
"Well all being well in the next couple of weeks. As soon as we've got the eggs fertilised then we'll call Jen in to attempt implantation."
"How successfull is this?"
"Well I'm not going to lie, its very difficult. I mean we're changing nature here so it may take a few attempts but don't worry Cathy, we'll all be doing ou very best!"

Later on that evening Garth comes to the diner:
