At the Heppals Laura rises to face the day:

"Laura, morning, I was just making us some quick breakfast."

"Its weird Harry, like I feel fine. I know that I've got through something major and yeah, while I was there, I was terrified but now I know she's been taken away and that your here I'm ok. I can't believe that she just walked into my life like that though."
"I can't believe the police didn't do a better job at searching for her. Surely they knew she come and find me if she was that obviously obsessed.."

"Oh he's just complaing that he never see's me. That I'm always here with you. He doesn't seem to get that Carrie was a huge part of my life and I know that we didn't initially get on but I think of you and Chris, well kinda like family."

"Yes I did but....Oh I see, this is Marc Martin isn't it!! Just because I'm seeing one of his friends. I can't believe it, I mean its such a little thing."
"Yes well it may be little to you but to Mr Martin is a huge deal. Look, I know you well Sydney but you've really disappointed me. You knew when you took up nursing that its not just a job, it's a vocation. Your a nurse 24hours a day, 7days a week, 365 days a year, you can't just come into work and then leave without a second thought about your outside actions. You've clearly hurt this man...I didn't expect this of you."

"I not asking you to do so, its happened now but this letter, well its caused some disruption and there'll have to be an investigation and maybe some disciplinary action."
"WHAT!? I can't believe this! How dare he, just cause his wife dies doesn't give him the right.."

"I'm sorry. I wasn't going to this but you clearly can't see you've done anything wrong and your attitude in my office has been completely out of order. Miss Marshall I am suspending you until further notice. You may not enter the premises of the hospital again unless for reasons of the investigation or you are reinstated. Please leave immediately."
