At the Dixon's Penelope and Roxy have just left:
"Right..a little  drink I think, to help me cope with the fire...yes....ummm...ok....ice...lemonade.....gin..."

"HI Dee. What you doing?"
"Oh nothing, its just lemonade."
"Yeah, I don't care...when's Gran coming home?"
"I've booked her cab so she'll be back later. Daniel are you alright?"
"Yeah..its just well, cause I started the fire, do you think she'll hate me?"
"No, no, of course she won't. It was an accident!"
"Yeah but she nearly died and the kitchen's a wreck...what are we going to do?"
"We'll be alright Daniel. This family's had its fair share of troubles but we've muddled through, we'll be fine."

"I guess. Can I go out?"
"Yeah...why?"
"Oh I need to get Tom a birthday present. He's a teen first and then I am! I can't wait."
"Ok, well don't be long..you should be here for Gran when she gets back."

At the Martin's Marc returns from work:
"Hello...I'm home...Kate? Whats wrong?"

"Nothing...I'm fine."
"Look, I know you better than this and you're not fine. Now what's wrong?"
"I got the divorce papers through from Keith today. That's it...he's definately gone and my marriage is over."
"Oh Kate, I'm sorry. You shouldn't have been expecting him back though."
"I know, I know and I wasn't but, I don't know, I guess there was a little hope. Just that he'd turn up and make things up with me."
"Whats he said about the house?"
"Well he doesn't want to sell it, and I'm not using it so I guess we'll rent it and split the cost."

"Kate, you'll be fine, come on, you know you will. I mean think back to when we hated each other...you were pretty fiesty then."
"Yeah...I guess I was.."
"And you were so strong after Carrie's death, just to help me through."
"I know and, well, to be honest, maybe I should have never married Keith. He was a great man but...I don't know, things just didn't work."
"See, be positive. You've got a house you can rent and make some money, your great with little Christopher..where is he by the way?"
"Oh he was tired so I put him down for a bit."

At the Dixon's Rosy returns:
"Oh Gran, I'm so glad your home."
"I am too dear, I'm sorry to see your sister go. She was a little gem. Where's your mother?"
"She's gone with Roxy...remember...I did tell you. That's why she couldn't pick you up."
"Oh yes dear, must've slipped my mind."
"Gran, are you sure your alright?"
"Yes dear, never felt better...now, lets look at this kitchen."

"Oh dear, oh dear...it really is quite a mess isn't it. Poor Daniel, where is he?"
"I told him to be back...sorry Gran."
"Oh no trouble, I do hope he's not fretting. It was only an accident. Oh look at all these piles of soot, you'd have thought the firemen could have cleaned it up a bit."
"Gran! They saved your life! They can't do the cleaning as well."
"Oh I'm very grateful to them but look at it...I just can't...."

"Oh Goodness, how on earth are we going to afford this kitchen? We already owe so much to the builders of my flat and they didn't even finish it! Oh No...."
"Gran, it'll be alright."
"It won't dear, it won't!! How many cookies will I have to bake to make the money...oh I can't even cook any cookies now....its all too much.....oh, oh, oh!"

Its evening and at the Heppal's Laura returns:
"Oh dear, I've had such a tiring day!"
"Where the hell have you been?"
"Where the hell have I been! I should ask you the same thing...I seem to be the only one planning this little wedding!"
"Little!! Its turning into the biggest blimmin wedding anyone's ever seen. I had the florists on the phone earlier....3000 roses! Laura!! We don't need 3000 roses."
"Well we'll scrap them then if its such a bad idea!"
"And what about the 5000 lillies!"

"Oh Harry shutup, will you. I've had enough of a stressful day. The caterer's said they can't make the smoked salmon vollavons that I wanted and.."
"Hang on I thought Jennifer Tomlin was doing the catering"
"Oh come on Harry. She's a lovely lady but I'm not having,well, street cafe food at my wedding!"
