Changing Styles
 
First we met her when she moved in with Gemima Park to help her out with bills. Then she appeared on local tv. Finally when studio town lately expanded she made her move to the soap screen in "Days of our Sims" and stunned us with her overacting abilities. She's now catawalling in the record studio and her first album "Leave a plate for me" is out next month. Who on earth are we talking about..its Kaleesha Weaver.
Chris (C):Hi Kaleesha, thankyou for talking to me today. I'm one of your greatest fans, ooh let me touch your arm.
Kaleesha (K):Hi Chris, I love talking to fans, it makes me feel important so its a pleasure to talk to you.
C: So what's it like finally being able to be on the big screen?
K: Its soo fantastic. I've thought and dreamed about it for ages and actually it was very easy. "Days of our Sims" was my biggest break but its very difficult to get what the director wants and I've found it very tough. Karen Wallace, that is my character, is going through a rough patch and all I'll say is..its going to get MUCH worse for her.

C: Thanks for that insight, I cant wait to see what happens. So what made you decide to record an album?
K: Well it was a complete accident really. When your starting out of a fame career you really dont get that much money. I was approached by Tina Trebble after a particularly good shoot and she asked me if I'd be interested doing a jingle for radio. The pay was good and so I agreed. The jingle was a hit and I was soon in the studio all the time..eventually Tina suggested an album. I found it alot easier than acting, its more natural for me, I'm just a pro singer.
C: Well I'm sure everyone cant wait for the album as we all love you! Is there anything else you'd like to achieve?
K: Definately, I haven't actually won an award yet, nor have I achieved superstardom status so there's alot to go
C:Well apart from your career, what else is happening in your life?
K: Not alot really. It's vey tiring and I only get time to socialise with a few select friends. I've recently bought a hot-tub so I can chill out a bit. My time with Gemima is unfortunately very infrequent, she's a projectionist and works odd hours to me. Also my friends dont like socialising with her as she's not a star, its difficult
C: Any boyfriends?
K: No, I haven't got time for a full-time relationship
C:Well, I'm free, I think your great, anything would be fine!
K: Your married!!! Chris, I'll tell your wife

C: Oh, oh, umm, ok Kaleesha, thankyou for talking to me, good luck in everything and we'll all be looking out for Karen Wallace and the new album "Leave a plate for me"
K: Thankyou very much Chris.
 
I dont know what came over me, there's something about these stars that makes you fall head over heals for them...maybe I'll give it a try!
