Good evening ladies and gentleman. It all started when Simborough wanted to show recognition to those artists out there that enrich our lives with their work whether it be music, acting, writing or providing our communities with a way of corresponding with each other. Now, we join here on this night to applause the best, but remember all the nominee's are stars in their own right and making the decisions of who wins was a very difficult one and one that the public were given the right to undertake. Tonight we start with an Award that may be the most presticious award tonight, one that without it none of us would be here, I am talking about the Award for Best Community Website, and the nominee's are:

A Golden Star Award, my gosh!!! Yaaayyy, this is way cool!!! Honestly, I'd never expect this and I really don't know what to say, except THANX everyone! That includes each and everyone who contributed to Simmerville web - ever! Anyone who visited and returned, and especially those who left a note! If it wasn't for all the feedback through these 2 years, I'm sure I would have left the site long ago - u guys rocks! Also a thank to the Simmerville Hood Council who are the actual owners of Simmerville web. And of course; a big thanx to Simborough for hosting this all, and to all who voted Simmerville for the Golden Star Award! Yaayyyy!!!

We all love the melodrama, the secrets, the lies and of course the romance which we find within the many drama's for Sim viewing. We tried to find the best to compile a selection of nominee's who give us the best in Soap entertainment. The nominee's for Best Sim Soap are:

Wow, this is really such an honour, so thankyou, thankyou from all of us. Working on Suburb Sim, I think we all agree, has been the best time in our lives. The cast and production crew all get along famously and now that we've been going for 10months we've got a good firm footing. Thankyou so much to the writers,Anthony Troy, Karmen Jennings and Martin Murphy, to the production crew...we love you all and to all the rest of the cast that couldn't be here tonight, thankyou for all the support that you give us. May Suburb Sim carry on for a long time to come!!
We watch soaps religiously but the one other TV show that us Sims love is a good reality show. We loved watchin sims make fools of themselves, set themselves up for blind dates, or simply have their everyday life filmed. This catergory is one where the shows of this nature will go on and on. So the nominee's for Best Reality Show are:

And now to the catergories of Best Looking Female and Best Looking Male. Finding beautiful sims isn't difficult, most of the time the gods make us all attractive. However finding smart, talented, beautiful sims is difficult but the sims within these two catergories measure up admirably. The nominee's for Best Looking Female are:

This is incredible...when your up against competition such as Lexy Killer, Cheyanne Hampton and Ruth Roberts...I really didn't think I'd win, especially since my how career in Suburb Sim has had me pregnant!! I can't really thank anyone apart from my parents...thanks for the gene's mum and dad, and thankyou, this really means a lot to me.

This is a real honour, to be up against my fellow cast member Dean Ludlow and Ryan Mainer...that's an honour in itself but to win! Many of you kow that most of my acting career has been on children's show's where I have dressed up as the Easter Bunny, and the Shark and Yeti on "Lets all go on a holiday". This has been my first chance to really act and so to the production team and writers of Suburb Sim....thankyou from the bottom of my heart. We now on to the music catergories. Music is one of the most important things in life, it helps relax us, set the scene, gives us an atmosphere in which to live in. From Rock to Pop, from Classical to Trance, music creeps out from all corners and is an inspiration to us all. The first catergory is Best Newcomer and the nominee's are:

It was hard coming here tonight. To be here, against sims such as Shanna Baile, Britani Jacobs and Trent Mulway is a real honour. I really didn't think I'd win. Most artists hope that in their life they'll accomplish one, two or maybe three hit number 1's, that they'll maybe recieve a few awards, and perhaps they'll manage to get a good rating on the album charts. Few manage to construct an album with such integrity, such critical acclaim, such sincerity that it blows you away. Well tonights nominee's for Best Album have, they are:

And now to the final two awards of the night, those of Best Actor and Best Actress. In the Best Actor catergory we see Paul Kane, whose character Harry Joyce in Suburb Sim, struggles with a highschool romance, Eric Forrester gave us an astounding perfomance in Cobra and we were all glued to our seats and finally Andy Kays, whose character Jason Tomlin (Suburb Sim), tries to come to term with his sexuality. Wow, it really is an honour to win Best Actor. I would like to thank my wife Brooke she has been such a huge support to me. My co-star Nicholas, you were amazing and you are part of this award too. The writers, producers, fans, extras, everyone who helped make this film a big success.
And here we are to Best Actress. The three actresses in this catergory have had to tackle difficult stories and conditions to bring us the best they could in entertainment. Justine Cairn, for her role as Laura Heppal, has dealt with highschool romance, parental concerns and difficult friendships. Taylor Bryce brought us the fairytale Cinderella reincarnated for our pleasure and Starr Grey brought the ER into our living rooms for her portrayel of Dr Erwin on Sim Emergency. So the nominations for Best Actress are:
