You've been the spokes sim for Palatial Heights for sometime now, how did this come about? Were you voted in due to political reasons or did you find your spokes sim status due to your fame?

Well, when I moved to Palatial Heights (PH) I wasn’t as famous as I am today.  I had just started to get to be known in Studio Town due to a movie I starred in, but I didn’t have a line (fashion line) yet.  I was in a serious car accident a few months prior; I got divorced from my first husband, so I really wanted to get busy doing something and get a fresh start.  I started organizing some events, one was the food expo of 2003 and pretty soon the residents approached me and asked me to become the hood’s spokes sim.  Now they don’t let me retire, I don’t know if you have noticed that I have been Palatial Heights’ only spokes sim.

How have you managed to juggle running a hood single handedly whilst being such a famous personality? Has it been difficult?

It hasn’t been as difficult because I hired sims to help me early on, but sometimes it can get overwhelming due to the traveling I have to do.  I’m lucky to have found a very good assistant, Diana, who helps me with SFD when I can’t even think about the boutique because of hood issues that need to be handled.

Who's idea was it for this years Sim Oscars and what prompted you to carry them out? Did the event go well? Can we expect another next year?

It was my idea to have PH host the Sim Oscars.  The event went great, even better than I thought it would, and we’re definitely going to host the Oscars again next year.  There area photos posted from the event at www.palatialheights.netfirms.com.

How do you see the future for Palatial Heights going? Has it assigned a college? Are you looking at residential and commercial growth or are you looking at keeping the hood small and popular?

We don’t have a collage yet, but we will within the next month or two.  I also have tried to get some families to move to PH.  We have two families that came over from Fire Ridge, the Young family (Gin H. Young my best friend) and the Rolfe family.  They love PH and our hood currently has 11 households and 3 commercial lots.  I don’t want PH to grow too much.  All of our resident have a strong relationship with each other and we all know each other very well.  I would like to keep it that way and that is everyone else’s wish also.

We know that you split up with former husband Don last year. Rumours have it that you may be back together...can you confirm this? What's your view on the situation?

LOL…I knew this would come up sooner or later.  I’m surprised you haven’t noticed the “rock” on my finger yet.  Don and I are back together, and you Chris are the first one to hear of this, other than our close friends.  Don came to Australia for a few days when I was there with my daughter, Tess, for Spring break.  We were sitting on a beach one day when he looked at me and said “you know I love you, stop messing around and marry me for God’s sake”.  I almost fell off the lounge chair.  Don has always been a very direct sim.  Next thing you know we were saying “I do”, again, in a small chapel.  It was very special because we were able to keep the media out, since nobody expected it to happen that quickly.

Your nominated in this years Golden Stars for Best Looking Female in the Sim World, how has this affected you? What are your hopes for the award?

LOL…I noticed I was nominated and I must say I was very shocked and flattered.  I still can’t believe that so many sims think me to be one of the best looking females in the sim world.  A lot more sims approach me now for autographs and even more ask me if my eyes are contacts.  So I want to say this to everyone…NO I DON’T WEAR CONTACTS.  MY EYES ARE REALLY A LIME COLOR.  I have my mother’s eyes J.

You’re also the SpokeSim for SUN. Are there any interesting or exciting projects in the making for all of us other hoods to take part in? How does the structure of the SUN work?

I have been the SUN Core Leader for over a year (three 6 months terms), but I gave it up this term, starting in January, and I’m now a Core member.  I don’t know if I’ll join again in July.  I’m also not sure where the Core is going this term.  We have had a hard time starting this term because of some personal issues that a couple of members had to deal with.  So far, there is nothing planned for the future, but I’m sure we will come up with something soon.

Are the rumours true that your daughter Tess Niven is in fact pregnant? Rumours have been flying around due to the speculation on her weight gain....what do you have to say about this?

What??!!?  Are you serous?  There are rumours that Tess is pregnant?  Hmm…LOL…I thought I heard it all.  No, Tess isn’t pregnant.  She hasn’t even had her “first kiss” yet, or gone on any dates.  I’m very strict when it comes to boys she wants to date so the poor child may not even date until she’s 25…LOL.

You are notorious in the world for having expensive tastes and being a celeb that always looks her best. What's a typical Sunday for you? Do you put on the make-up and look as gorgeous as usual or do you sometimes decide to ,you know, slob out?

If I don’t have to dress up, I don’t.  I prefer jeans and track pants.  Because I always have to look my best for work, and so many events, when I get a day at home I wear no makeup, I work out and/or watch TV, play a game of chess with Tess or relax in the Jacuzzi.  I usually don’t even dress up to go to the grocery store, hoping that nobody would recognize me, but it’s getting harder and harder to slip by the media.

And finally a lot has happened over the past 6 months with the introduction on the new dimension. What are your hopes for the future both hood wise in expansions and for the celebrity circuit? Are you hoping for new shows? New models? And whole new look for sim celebrities?

I’m hoping that our celebrities won’t retire just yet, I know Alisa Crawston just announced her retirement, but I know Adelaide Stone is working on a new CD, I love her music.  I don’t really have anything else I would really like to see.  That’s the neat thing about the future, you don’t know what you’re jumping into or what’s going to happen tomorrow and I think that’s really EXCITING.

Thank you for your time Carla!  It was very nice to meet you.

It was very nice to meet you also, this was actually my first time in Simborough.  I love your show; I’ll come back anytime J.
